I guess these things just happen

Hello everyone, I want to begin by making an apology. I am sorry that I have not posted in so long. I know I don’t really need to apologise but I feel that I should. It wouldn’t have taken me very long to type up a quick post to update anyone who has been reading regularly but for some reason I just didn’t.

A lot had happened since my last post. My dog, Milo, had to be put to sleep. He was 14 years old and we’ve had him since he was 2. It was like losing a member of the family. He had begun having seizures and the vets thought he had a brain tumour. They gave us medication for him, but he wasn’t himself, it wasn’t fair on him to keep him alive. We made the tough decision to have him put to sleep and he is now up in heaven with the other fur babies we’ve lost over the years.

I’ve also had a busy few weeks. I’ve been planning things for the blog, doing loads of overtime at work, and trying to catch up on sleep and stay healthy. Things soon overwhelm me and before I know it it’s been a month and nothing has been done.

As I said, I have been planning things for the blog. I will be announcing it on Tuesday 1st December!!!!

See you soon!!

Let’s talk about sensitive bladder

*Please note I am not getting paid to talk about the products in this post.*

Hello everyone!!

Today I wanted to share a project that I am doing with you. I am a member of the Savvy Circle which is part of SuperSavvyMe.

I am taking part in a project with Savvy Circle and Always Discreet. They have sent me a kit about the products to share with others and to talk about the subject of sensitive bladders.

Sensitive bladder is scientifically defined by the involuntary loss of urine. It has always seemed like a condition that only effects the older population but bladder sensitivity affects 1 in 3 women over the age of 18. That means a third of us are living with a sensitive bladder. Always Discreet are designed specifically for urine absorbency, odour control and security.

I have made some little ‘gifts’ from my kit to give to family and friends. I hope that this post might have been informative for some of you. Here are some links that you might also find useful.

See you soon!

October Favourites

Hello everyone!!!

October has been a long month!! Or at least it has felt like it! I’ll be honest. I forgot all about noting down my faves so these are just literally off the top of my head.

My first favourite is baking! I’ve been making lots of different treats this months and have really enjoyed the baking experience. I made pumpkin cakes, pumpkin dog treats, biscuits, and mince pies. Here’s a sneaky photo that will be in an upcoming post in December!

Next, I have been loving Halloween. Obviously Halloween only comes once a year and apart from Christmas it is my favourite time of year!! I decorated my living room and carved pumpkins! I spent the day with my sister which was really nice as we don’t always have that much time to do things together.

I’ve also been enjoying snuggling on the sofa and watching TV. The shows I have been enjoying are Zoo, which is on Sky 1 on Sundays at 9. Here’s the website if you want to read about it. The last episode is on this Sunday but you should be able to watch it on catch up or on the internet.

The second show that I have been loving is The Affair. The second series is on Sky Atlantic on Wednesdays at 9pm.  It follows the consequences the occur after an affair, there’s more info about the show here. I really enjoyed series one, but it left a lot of unanswered questions, hopefully all will be revealed this series!!

That’s all for Octobers favourites, I cannot believe that it is November already!! I will be making more of an effort to post regularly and I have lots of awesome things planned!!!

See you soon!!
