Pamper Party!

Hello everyone!

Today I thought it would be really nice to share some tips for having an at-home pamper party. I really enjoy having some time to pamper myself and make myself feel good! The winter time is especially nice to have a pamper party, you can either spend the time alone or invite a friend or two along!!

Here are my tips for having a peaceful pamper party:

Pre-prepare some yummy snacks. It’s completely up to you how healthy you want to make your snacks. I really enjoy chocolate covered strawberries as they are delicious and healthy.

Make sure the place you are having your pamper party is clean and tidy. I use my bathroom and bedroom, so beforehand I give them a quick sort and tidy and ensure that everything I need is ready.

Choose your products and set them out before you start. I like to have a bath and then go into my bedroom to moisturise so I make sure to put the things I want to use in the right rooms.

Make a happy or relaxing playlist. I usually put on whatever music I feel like listening to at the time but I always make sure that is something that will make me feel good. There’s nothing worse than trying to have a relaxing time and ending up feeling depressed from sad music.

Then it’s time to get your snacks and begin your pampering!! I like to put my snacks in my bedroom to eat after my bath. Obviously if you are having friends over you might want to skip the bath and make sure everyone has one before coming over. I also think it’s the perfect thing to do at a sleepover!!!

See you soon!

What motivates you?

Hello everyone!!

Motivation is something that is required for most things. From working out and doing housework to making time to do what you want to do. Everything requires motivation! At the moment, as you may be able to tell, I have been struggling to find motivation to blog and do a number of other things. Over the last week or so I have somehow drawn some motivation from somewhere to get going again and do things that need to be done.

One of the things that give me motivation is reading motivational quotes. I find them on the internet, mainly on Pinterest. I like to print them and stick them into notebooks, or make home décor from them. (Keep your eye out for some D.I.Ys soon!)

Here are a few of my favourite quotes that keep me motivated!!

Comment below with your favourite motivational quotes and anything else that keeps you motivated!

See you soon!

I need to try

Hello everyone!!

I have decided that I going to start blogging again. I’ve taken a break from a lot of things in my life and focused more on the important things in my life, and it has really helped me. I stopped speaking to certain people and tried to focus more on my relationships with family members. This has kind of made me focus a bit more on what is important to me.

I have always wanted my own blog. To blog about what I am passionate about. I talk about what I love. I share inspiration with others who are like me. I can’t give in, I need to try and get this blog working again.

I know I haven’t exactly had a ton on views or comments or whatever but that isn’t really why I wanted to blog. I don’t want to be a ‘famous’ blogger, I just want to blog.

I am going to attempt to blog on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I will blog more details later on but at the moment I just wanted to say I am going to try, I need to try.

See you soon!

I just don’t know what to do...

Hello everyone!!

I seem to have a bit of a dilemma! This blog! I just don’t know if should keep blogging or not. I thought that blogging would be simple, make a blog, take a few photos, and all the ideas for blog posts would just flow and it would all work. I naively thought that within a couple of months I’d have hundreds of follows and people commenting on every post. The rate I’m going I don’t even know if anyone is going to read this.

I have always wanted to blog but I don’t think that my content is exciting enough. Other bloggers that I follow blog about exciting things happening in their lives – weddings, holidays, birthday parties, even something simple like a recipe – I just don’t have that kind of lifestyle. I wanted my blog to be personal but interesting.

Maybe I’m not destined to be a blogger, maybe I should quit.

Or maybe I should try my damned hardest to be a good blogger, to find exciting things in my life to blog about.

I just don’t know what to do.

If you are reading this and have any kind of opinion please leave a comment below. I need help…

See you soon! Hopefully!

Happy New Year!!!

Hello everyone!!

I want to start by wishing everyone a happy new year!! My mum and step dad stayed over last night and we stayed up to see in the New Year. We had pizza for tea and lots of tasty nibbles!! Today we had a quiet morning and a lovely roast for lunch. They left early this afternoon so I had a lovely soak in the bath with a Lush bath bomb.

I also started reading one of the books that I got for Christmas – Girl Online by Zoe Sugg. I’m four chapters in but it looks like it might be a good book! I had a nap and when I woke up I had a cup of tea to refresh myself.

I have a feeling that the next few weeks are going to be hard. It’s just been Christmas and I’ve not been at work so getting back into ‘normality’ will be strange. But I’m determined that I will have an epic 2016 and achieve all the things that I want to!!!

I’m going to obviously be sharing the ups and downs of my 2016 with you, I also have some other exciting things planned such as DIYs and reviews!! I can’t wait to get into the swing of the new year and do all the things I’ve been planning!!

See you soon!
