Hello everyone!!
As you all probably already
know next Tuesday is Pancake Day! It basically means everyone in the country
eats pancakes!!! Yum!! I wanted to share a simple pancake recipe with you so
you can make pancakes too!!
Ingredients:
- 110g plain flour
- Pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- 200ml milk mixed with 75ml water
- 50g melted butter ( this can be melted in the microwave ) and a little extra for cooking
- Plus your toppings, I used chocolate spread and raspberries!!
How to make:
- Sift the flour and salt in a large bowl
- Break eggs into the flour and whisk
- Gradually add the milk and water and whisk until the mixture is smooth
- Add the butter and mix again
- Heat some butter in a frying pan and pour in some of the mixture, wait until the underside is cooked and flip
- When it’s all cooked add the toppings and enjoy!!!
I used wheat-free flour and found
that there is a fine line between under cooked, just right, and over cooked, so
watch carefully when you are cooking them. I’ve practiced to make sure they are
just right when I make them for the family on pancake day!!
My first ones were a little
under cooked but were still delicious!! And the second ones were a tiny bit
overcooked but I was too busy eating the first ones to notice when they were
cooking!
I hope you enjoy your
pancakes, let me know in the comments what toppings you enjoy!!
See you soon!
