Hello everyone!!!
A few years ago I came
across the idea of Christmas Eve boxes on Pinterest. For anyone who doesn’t
know they are boxes to open on Christmas Eve night full of all kinds of
goodies!! All of the ones I saw on Pinterest were for children, I wanted to
make an adult version.
One day I decided I would attempt
to make gingerbread house to use as my Christmas Eve box. I found a suitably
sized box, which to be fair needed to be quite big, and begun decorating it. I decopatched
the sides, back, and front of the boxes with brown paper and pva glue. I then
cut out circles of Christmassy paper and stuck them on the roof which looks
super cute!! I used other Christmas things to make a door shape and other decorations
on the box.
I will be posting about the
contents of my box on Sunday!! I’m very excited to share it with you!!! Here is
a sneak peek, this is Mr and Mrs Gingerbread and the four snowballs who live in
the box and come out every Christmas!!
