Hello everyone!!!
Every year I make Christmas
crackers with chocolates in! I still buy shop bought crackers for Christmas day
because I like the paper hats you get in them!! But they can be a bit expensive
if you want more than one lot of them, and the things that you get inside them aren’t
always that great.
I’ve decided to show you two
different ways to make crackers. The first way uses a Sizzix machine, it is a
die cutting machine which you buy different dies to cut shapes from paper and
card. The machine and dies are quite expensive but I thought it would be nice
to show you anyway.
The second way I’ve made
some crackers is using toilet roll tubes. I cut a sheet of wrapping paper
larger than the tube and put glue on the tube to stick the paper on to it. I
put chocolates in them, tied the ends, and decorated them the same as the other
crackers I made.
You can also buy kits to
make crackers but I couldn’t find any this year which was a bit disappointing.
I really enjoyed making the
crackers and I think that they add a lovely homemade touch to Christmas!!
